Summer Tutoring details for 2025 are here!

Tutoring is available for the following subject areas for preschool through grade 5

• Reading 

• Writing

• Math

Summer 2025 Schedule:

For summer 2025, tutoring will be offered twice a week for 3 weeks in July: Tuesdays & Thursdays the weeks of July 7, 21, and 28th (we won't meet the week of July 14th). In the six sessions, we'll focus on strengthening skills to set your child up for success in the upcoming school year.

In addition to the 6 personalized sessions, your child will get a kit of additional activities and materials designed for 4 more weeks of individualized practice at home to maintain their skills and feel ready for back to school!

Summer 2025 Financial Commitments:

6 30 minute sessions + 4 weeks of individualized practice: $150

6 60 minute sessions + 4 weeks of individualized practice: $250

Additional Tutoring Details:

I will be hosting in-person sessions in my office at Kasson-Mantorville Elementary School. Families can drop off and pick up their child at the front pencil doors.

My Credentials:

I have taught in classrooms (all subjects) in kindergarten through grade 4 and reading intervention for 5th grade over my 13 years in education.  I have a Bachelors in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa, a Masters of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and an Educational Specialist Degree in K-12 Administration from Concordia-St. Paul.  

I have completed extensive literacy training, including Orton-Gillingham training, LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) and OL&LA (Online Language & Literacy Academy).  I have presented sessions at multiple national conferences, published in national teaching journals, and been recognized with teaching awards.  I am currently working toward an official certification through the International Dyslexia Association.
